The 2 oz Elemetal El Cazador Silver Round is the third release in the Elemetal Shipwreck Series. This round honors the Spanish brig El Cazador, a lost shipment of silver tied to the history of Spanish Louisiana and the future of North America.

Struck by Elemetal Mint in Ultra High Relief, the obverse features King Charles III, inspired by Spanish silver coinage carried aboard El Cazador. The weathered texture gives the round the character of recovered shipwreck silver.

The shared reverse features the Shipwreck Series insignia with D, 2, OZ, AG, and 999, representing Dallas, 2 Troy Ounces, silver, and .999 fine silver purity.

El Cazador sailed for New Orleans in 1784 carrying silver 8 Reales, often called Pieces of Eight, and was never heard from again. Discovered in 1993 south of New Orleans, the wreck is remembered as The Shipwreck That Changed America.
